About

Andina Medina

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Andina Medina was one of the first Dominican instructors to share authentic Dominican bachata with visitors from around the world. Since 2003, she’s been teaching the culture, rhythm, and traditions of bachata to international dancers traveling to the Dominican Republic.

Raised with a deep connection to Dominican traditions, Andina also brings extensive knowledge of palo through her family roots, along with merengue típico, giving her a unique understanding of the country’s musical heritage.

Today, she continues to inspire dancers by preserving and sharing the richness of Dominican culture. We’re proud to have Andina as part of our Legends Edition.

Throughout Keloke Bachata Adventures, you’ll have the chance to dance, learn, and create unforgettable memories with one of the women who helped introduce authentic Dominican bachata to the world. ❤️🇩🇴
